Moraga Police Blotter

Frisbee golfers party, 1/14/10 A concerned St. Mary's Road resident called police to report frisbee golfers have been drinking and smoking marijuana on a make-shift bench near his rear fence. One of the golfers allegedly became irate when the reporting person threw leaves over his fence. Cops are looking into having the make-shift bench removed and will be checking the area more frequently for illegal activities.

Stolen property, 1/10/10 A Magee Court resident reported that she had left her camera and a portable DVD player in her car and now they were missing. Alas, the car owner sometimes leaves her vehicle unlocked. No signs of forced entry into the car. No leads at this time.

SMC Dorm rooms robbed, 1/14/10 An unknown suspect entered the Ageno dorm building at St. Mary's College and stole three Mac Book laptop computers, one Blackberry cell phone, one iPod Touch and one iPod player from two unlocked dorm rooms. Estimated loss $3800. Clearly Apple fans.

Attempted robbery at Union 76, 1/17/10 The clerk left the gas station mini mart to take a short break, and made sure that the back door was locked prior to her departure. After returning to the station she heard the lock securing the electronic safe door cycle open. The reporting person suspects someone who had a front door key and knows the electronic safe combination attempted to steal money from the safe. It appeared that nothing was taken from the safe or the store.
