Stanley Volleyball Wins Championship

The Stanley Middle School girls' 7B volleyball team claimed the championship trophy on Oct. 25. Head coach Claire Porep, a junior at Acalanes, led the team to the title.

The championship game against Longfellow Middle School from Berkeley was a nail biter. During regular season play, Longfellow had been one of two teams to beat Stanley. During the round robin play, Stanley handily beat Longfellow. Stanley beat Longfellow again in the championship.
