Lafayette residents sip, sample and socialize at Taste of Lafayette
Volunteer Tom Stack helps at the tour Photo Pippa Fisher

Cloudy skies and chilly temperatures did not deter folks from the community dinner party known as the Taste of Lafayette.
Residents strolled along the city's "Restaurant Row" as they sipped, sampled and socialized while visiting close to 30 participating establishments during the sold-out event. Live music and entertainment kept things hopping at the "taste pavilion." A raffle benefitted the Lafayette Community Foundation.
Lafayette resident Sue Conway said that she and her girlfriends have been coming to the last three such events. "It is nice to stroll and taste samples from participating restaurants. It's nice to meet people and see friends from around the community." -Pippa Fisher
