| The Moraga Garden Club is busy planting daffodil bulbs at the Moraga Commons. This year the Moraga Daisy Girl Scout Troop No. 33869, comprised of 14 first graders wanted to help plant bulbs to earn a new badge. The daffodil planting counts towards earning the "Make the World a Better Place" petal (aka badge).
"Since the girls hold their monthly meetings at the park, they can take "hikes" to their plantings and see them sprout, blossom and fade away, said Troop Leader Melinda Gerber."
The Moraga Garden Club plants hundreds of bulbs each year around Moraga. Look for the beautiful yellow flowers to appear sometime in the Spring for all to enjoy.
