| Orinda Rotary Club Endowment Grants Awarded

The Orinda Rotary Club awarded $6,700 in grants to organizations in Orinda through their Endowment. Although unable to fulfill all the requests that they received, Rotarian and Endowment Director Gene Gottfried was pleased to announce the recipients for 2008. The Orinda Community Church received support for their Winter Nights Homeless Shelter Program; the Orinda Rotary Club got a grant to install an assistive listening system; the Xenophon Riding Center received sponsorship for a rider; Orinda Intermediate School got a grant for six stereomicroscopes; and Del Rey Elementary School will be able to purchase a document camera.
