Acalanes senior Conor O’Herin goes for the pin against his Miramonte opponent. On beating the Mats by forfeits, Acalanes wrestling coach Bob Chance explained that part of wrestling is having a full line up: “Last week we lost to Las Lomas by 5 points, but we had forfeited 5 weight classes. In that match, we actually won 7 of the 8 matches wrestled. This was the first time since I have been coaching (7 years) that Acalanes has defeated Miramonte in wrestling. So, as far as that goes, we were very happy with the result, regardless of forfeits.”
