At a special Saturday session, the City Council devoted an all day meeting to the Downtown Strategy and Specific Plan at Stanley Intermediate School. They carefully went line by line analyzing intent and language, all the while listening to more public comment. This was in addition to all of the information gathered and opinions gleaned from workshops, surveys and countless meetings, and the recent reports by various committees and commissions. At issue is the current vision statement, districts, height and density, circulation, parking, parks and creeks and finally funding priorities.
