| Artist Brian Goggin is shown with a model of "Excerpts" the aptly named sculpture that will soon grace the Outdoor Plaza Corridor of the Lafayette Library and Learning Center. The finished product will be bronze, sixteen feet tall and appears to teeter close to its tipping point. "I create works which make the improbable appear plausible, while challenging expected notions of how we perceive and interact with the environment," said Goggin in a prepared statement.
