The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (CCCSD) Board of Directors decided on June 4 not to approve a proposed $10 increase to the annual Sewer Service Charge. Board President Jim Nejedly applauded staff's diligent efforts to keep the District in a solid financial position during challenging economic times. "We will continue to look for savings for the District and our customers while still meeting our goal of full regulatory compliance while protecting public health and the environment," Mr. Nejedly noted.
