A resolution was unanimously adopted at the November 9, 2009 City Council meeting to extend the Lafayette Stimulus Package until June 30, 2010. This package of six incentives is meant to encourage business development in the city. The City Council also directed staff to work with Contra Costa Certified Farmers’ Markets on a draft contract for a seasonal market running from May through October at Lafayette Plaza. It will be brought before the City Council for approval at the November 23rd meeting.
