Twice a week, this group of retired but very fit aficionados take to the streets for an invigorating forty-plus mile ride. On this day, the group started from Berkeley, rode up to El Sobrante, down to Orinda and finally to Lafayette before heading over the hill back to Berkeley. Always stopping somewhere with outdoor dining, they are keenly aware of being downwind from other patrons. Papillon is a favorite pit stop. According to counter staff they enjoyed an array of drinks and snacks.
