| | | | | | Orinda hosted a kids' triathlon on Saturday, November 14. The triathlon promoted health and fitness in kids while raising funds for the Orinda Community Fund, youth events and programs and to honor the memory of Joe Louden. Kids in kindergarten to high school participated in swimming, biking and running elements adjusted for age groups.
Top male finisher for the high school bracket was Pearson Henri, 16, 38:40 and top female finisher for high school group was Hannah Reed, 17, 59:40. In the sixth-eighth grade bracket the first male finisher was Charlie Louden, 13, 22:07 and the first female finisher was Mary Orders, 20:33. In the third-fifth grade bracket Caroline Stenzel, 9, was the first female to finish with a time of 14:31 and Christian Schillinger was the first male to finish with a time of 13:16. In the kindergarten through second grade category the first female to finish was Marguax McDonald, 7, 10:00 and the first male to finish was Sam Ouzounian with a time of 9:24. C. Graveson
