| | | | | | At the recent NorCal United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) Winter Convention, February 5-7, at the Stanford University Tennis Complex, John Sharpe, USPTA Professional 1 (P1), was awarded the USPTA Lifetime Achievement Award. The tennis award is for service and dedication to tennis in Northern California, and the Lamorinda area. Sharpe resides in Moraga, is the Head Pro/Tennis Manager at the Rancho Colorados Tennis and Swim Club in Lafayette, and is currently the Regional Vice President for NorCal USPTA.
On February 19th, Rancho Colorados hosted a tennis tournament at Saint Mary's College to raise money for the International Red Cross Haiti Relief.
