High brow robbery, 3/18/10 An unknown suspect pried open a side door and ransacked the interior of a Los Palos Drive home while the owner was out of town for a couple weeks. A substantial amount of jewelry, along with a German violin and wine were taken - estimated value $30,000. Sadly no latent finger prints were found - no suspects or leads at this time. A cultured thief?

Residential burglary, 3/18/10 Someone entered a Hawthorn Drive residence through an unlocked back door and exited via the front door sometime between 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. with approximately $12,700 worth of the homeowner's property.

Probation violation, 3/23/10 A San Leandro man made a u-turn against the light at Mount Diablo Blvd. at just after 2:00 in the morning. Turns out he was violating his Alameda County parole agreement for a D.U.I. and his California Drivers license was suspended. He was given a complimentary lift to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Robbery, 3/23/10 An unknown suspect entered a Brook Street apartment through an unlocked sliding door and took two laptop computers and an iPod from the living room. Estimated loss $2,300. Please lock your doors and windows.
