Their senior year the team was named the High School Team of the Year (all sports) by ESPN Rise magazine. During the 2008 season the team won the Schmitt Tournament, North-South Challenge, took second place at the Memorial State Tournament, and won their fourth straight North Coast Section Championship. No longer united under the Matador green and white or the Lamorinda Water Polo Club blue and gold, it is a rainbow of new colors representing NCAA division I and division III collegiate water polo teams.
