Moraga Police Blotter

Stopped with pot, 4/19/10 A nineteen year old male driver was stopped near St. Mary's Road and Bollinger Canyon for crossing over the fog line. Due to the smell of non-burnt marijuana in the vehicle, officers wanted to search the car. The young man declined, but police searched anyway, finding three grams of suspected marijuana, hypodermic needles, a pipe and a spoon with suspected OxyContin on it.

Identity theft via Paypal, 4/15/10 A Saint Mary's College student reported that someone had used her Paypal account to charge $559 worth of online merchandise from Walmart and had it sent to an address in Worcester, Massechusetts. The student has not given his account information to anyone. The case was forwarded to the Worchester Police.

Coffee Cash Burgled, 4/18/10 Si Si Cafe on Country Club Drive was broken into and $200 taken from a coffee filter container. No leads at this time. That's a lot of lattes.

Egg Vandalism, 4/19/10 Although Easter has come and gone, two cars parked in front of a Corte Monterey residence had raw eggs poured onto their windshields by an unknown suspect. Unfortunately the eggs got into air conditioning vents and produced a less than pleasant smell. The reporting person said it would cost $600 to get the smell out. No witnesses or leads at this time.
