Mary Jane is a Bad Driver, 3/31/10 Orinda Police made a traffic stop on Camino Pablo at Camino Sobrante. During the stop, the subject happened to back into the patrol car. Uh oh... When the officer contacted the subject, it appeared there may be more than poor driving skills in play. Suspecting the subject was high on more than life, the officer conducted a Field Sobriety Test and blood was drawn from the subject. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a plastic baggie and a plastic container, both containing marijuana, in the center console. Off to the Martinez Detention Facility.
Busted, 4/1/10 Orinda Police stopped the subject at Moraga Way and Glorietta for going 49 mph in a 35 mph zone. When asked if he'd been drinking, the subject said he'd had two glasses of wine. Apparently math was not his strong subject because his blood alcohol level was above the legal limit. To further compound the problem, the subject had a wee bit of difficulty performing the Field Sobriety Test. Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho, off to Martinez we go.
Wreckless Burglar, 4/8/10 An unknown suspect entered a Muth Drive home by forcing a rear door open. The villain proceeded to ransack the residence before making away with a flat screen TV, jewelry, cash and two handguns.
Smash and Grab, 4/12/10 An unknown suspect used an unknown object to smash the driver's side window of a vehicle parked on Altarinda Road. The victim's purse was stolen from the driver's side floor and the loss was valued at $270. We suggest taking your purse with you when exiting your vehicle.
