Some 250-300 fans gathered at the Moraga Commons on Saturday, May 2nd, in celebration of the thrilling season played by the the St. Mary's Gaels men's basketball team. Gaels players, including Omar Samhan, and coach Randy Bennett took the stage to thank the community for its support and for coming out to greet the team as its Sweet Sixteen journey progressed, expressing surprise and delight at the crowd that awaited them even when the team bus pulled in at midnight.
