The Sportstrong Bears are a fourth grade AAU basketball team comprised of girls from Lafayette and Orinda. They participated in their first traveling tournament last weekend in Sacramento. The Bears played teams from Sacramento, Napa, and Redding and won respectively 44-11, 45-8, and 45-16 (Championship game).
The girls played well over the weekend, but had as much fun hanging out at the hotel, eating together, swimming and staying up late watching movies.
