Story Time with Miss Donna
June 24th-July 29th, every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Preschoolers are invited to join Miss Donna for books, fingerplays, songs
and more at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center.

Tea Dancing
Starting June 30th, every Wednesday afternoon. The first Wednesday of every month professional dancers provide a dance lesson and live DJ services playing your favorites and requests. All other Wednesdays - dance to the DJ, refreshments provided, 12:30 - 3:00 at the Lafayette Community Center Oak Room, 500 St. Mary's Road, $2 for Senior Services members, or $4 for non-members.

Summer Harp Concert
Friday, July 23rd International musician Dominique Piana, who has performed in concerts worldwide and majored in harp at the Brussels Conservatory of Music, will provide music to "Lull the Soul." From 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
at the Live Oak Room or on the outer patio (weather permitting) of the Lafayette Community Center. Light refreshments served, $3 for Senior

Lafayette Gallery
Through August 8th "Summer Daze" celebrates the warmth and lightheartedness of summer. Tuesday to Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., 50 Lafayette Circle.

Photography at Town Hall Theater
Through August the works of Thomas F. Black, a professional photographer based in Lafayette, are on exhibit in the lobby at Town Hall Theatre, 3535 School St. (corner of Moraga Rd.), Lafayette.

Jazz Camp Concert

Rock the Plaza
August 13th, 20th, and 27th Just like the name says, the Plaza will be rocking from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on three Friday's in August. Bring your own picnic or just hang out on the grass and enjoy three mystery bands at the corner of Moraga Road and Mt. Diablo. Free - sponsored by the Lafayette Chamber and Red House Studios.

For Seniors: Behind the Scenes at the Town Hall Theater
Tuesday, August 24th Artistic Director Clive Worsley will provide a sneak
preview of their September production of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" for adults over 55. 10:30-noon 3535 School Street, Lafayette. Attendees receive

Concerts in the Park
All are welcome to attend the Summer Concert Series held at the Moraga Commons; every Thursday night (except July 1) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., through August 19. Be sure to bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the music on the grassy hillside while children play in the park. Sponsored by the Moraga Park and Recreation Foundation (Foundation volunteers will also fix dinner, for sale at the concession stand).

The New Rheem Theater

SMC 6th Annual Summer Wine Festival
August 15th Regional wineries and breweries will provide a remarkable assortment of rich, bold reds, lively, crisp whites and micro brews at Saint Mary's College. The event includes wines and appetizers, and supports the Lasallian Scholarship Fund. Many of the wineries are owned and
operated by SMC alumni. The event will be held from
2:00 to 5 p.m. in the Soda Activity Center, Saint Mary's

Orinda 25th Anniversary of Incorporation Events
June 28th The Birthday in the Park Concert starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Park. Come out to sing happy birthday to the City and enjoy some birthday cake.
July 1st The Lamorinda Film and Entertainment Foundation will host a screening of the movie Back to the Future at 7:00 p.m. at the Orinda Theater. The movie was a box office hit back in 1985 when the City incorporated and tickets prices will be rolled back to that era.

July 28th Japanese Koto. Shirley Kazuyo is one of the
modern masters of this ancient Japanese
instrument and her son, Brian Mitsuhiro
Wong, follows in the family's tradition.
August 25th Celtic Sands. This folk quartet plays Irish,
Scottish and Celtic harp music.
