The familiar face of finance in Moraga, Administrative Services Director Joan Streit, did not come to the Town Council meeting on June 9th to present the budget. Streit resigned a few weeks ago, after two years of service. Emily Boyd, who held the position before Streit, agreed to come out of retirement and take up her old post for an interim period while the town searches for a new finance director. Streit said that she felt it was time to move on. "I have enjoyed my time in Moraga, but I think I have done all I can for the town," she stated.
