In the quarter-finals of the District 4 Tournament, Lafayette continued its incredible run with Robby Rowell and Matty Vicencio combining for the shutout win. The Lafayette hurlers gave up only two hits and two walks while striking out six batters. Kyle Mizell, Brian Merken and Michael Bone all had big hits for Lafayette.

Continental Concord 4 - Lafayette 3
In the semi-finals of the 9-10 year old D4 Tournament, Lafayette's run finally ended in a heart breaking loss to Continental. Lafayette had won six straight elimination games to reach the semi-finals but came up a game short of the District Championship. Ty Whelehan pitched a gem by allowing only six hits and no walks to a potent Continental offense. Lafayette's bats were silent collecting only five hits and scoring three runs. Seppi Ortman, Robby Rowell, Kyle Mizell, John Torchio and Whelehan all had hits but Lafayette couldn't find the big hit in this one, stranding eight runners on base. Lafayette finished third in the tournament while Continental went on the win the Championship over Antioch.
