New and Improved Fountain - Ready for Coins

On a sunny Saturday, Jef Raf, with Kim Robbins of Old World Masonry and Kim's brother Keith Robbins, put the finishing touches on a new fountain in the middle of the Lafayette Plaza Mall, behind Peet's. A gentle waterfall cascades down the newly installed rocks, providing a soothing backdrop for residents enjoying a coffee, bagel or frozen yogurt treat. Several young shoppers were armed with pennies, and presumably wishes, for the new fountain.
"It was long overdue," said Joan Bruzzone, who was overseeing the project. She describes it as Lafayette's own Trafalgar Fountain. For more information, call Old World Masonry at (925) 930-8944.
