| Published August 4th, 2010 | Theater Board: Help Stop the Leak | By Cathy Tyson | | | "Town Hall Theatre's flood isn't over," said the Board and Staff of Town Hall Theatre in a recent letter. They are referring to 800 gallons of water that swept through the building in 2009. "For a while, we were more than just a theatre company, we were a renovation company," the letter continued.
Although the Theatre is looking refurbished, the budget, never in very robust shape, is swamped with "debt, fees and cash expenditures." The Board has come up with a unique approach to remedy the situation - the "Stop the Leak Campaign." They are looking for one thousand tax deductible donations of $100 each. For more information or to make a donation, go to www.townhalltheatre.com or call (925) 283-6673.
