Semi-Finals

Lafayette 6 - San Ramon 5

Lafayette Little League's 10 year old All-Stars beat San Ramon in the bottom of the ninth on perfectly executed double steal by Matt Moorehead and Michael Bone. After getting down 4-0, Lafayette's pitching squad of Ty Whelehan, Robby Rowell and Matty Vicencio did a great job holding San Ramon to one run and one hit over the final eight innings giving their team a chance at a comeback. John Torchio had two hits and Vicencio provided a critical RBI single in the bottom of the seventh with two outs to extend the game.

Lafayette 6 - Livermore American 5

In the finals of the San Ramon Tournament, Lafayette's 10 year old All-Stars won another thriller. This was the third game in a row won by Lafayette in their last at-bat. Down by a run to start the last inning, Ryan Regan lined a single to center and scored on a big hit by Torchio to tie the game. Bone calmly laid down a perfect bunt scoring Whelehan for the win. Lafayette had 10 hits on the night including double and two RBIs by Whelehan.
