School vandalism, 8/4/10 A maintenance worker found a number of broken windows at Glorietta Elementary School on Martha Road. The damage occurred sometime between 3:00 p.m. on August 3 and 8:00 a.m. on August 4. Unfortunately there are no surveillance cameras on campus to catch the vandal. Senseless destruction.

Felony vandalism, 8/04/10 A Heather Lane homeowner parked his car in his driveway - not an unusual thing to do. Unfortunately as he was getting ready to go to work at 8:00 a.m. he found his front yard was toilet papered and the two rear tires of his Mercedes wagon were slashed. Estimated damage $1200. So not funny.

Armed robbery, 7/31/10 The Orinda Shell gas station was held up at gun point. An unknown quantity of cigarettes and $103 from the cash register was taken. It's unknown if the suspect(s) left on foot or by car. Unfortunately there was no video surveillance camera. Smoking and robbery, two very bad habits.
