More than 300 people from the Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda Branches of SIR (Sons in Retirement) gathered at the St. Mary's College Soda Center to celebrate the holidays. This annual event brings together the members, spouses and friends of Branches 171 and 174. The highlight of the luncheon was a Christmas choral presentation by the Campolindo High School Chamber Singers, directed by Stacey Kikkawa. These 32 talented students are truly a local treasure.
Sons in Retirement is an organization of men who are no longer devoting full time to their careers and who enjoy the many activities their branches offer. Our Lamorinda branches both have luncheon meetings monthly featuring a prominent speaker. There are 150 Branches of SIR in California with 20,000 members.
