I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the many groups that volunteered to assist with the 5th Annual Moraga Triatlon. The many community groups cheered for and provided a safe course for the 350+ athletes that participated on Saturday, April 30. Thank you to Lamorinda CERT, Miramonte Leo's Club, Saint Mary's College Rotaract, Campolindo Key Club, Andrew Morris and Soda Aquatics Center lifeguards, Acalanes Union High School District maintenance staff, Campolindo Principal Carol Kitchens, Saint Mary's College Women's Tennis and Volleyball Teams, Boy Scout Troop 246, Carroll Ranch Homeowners Association, Denise Duff and the Moraga Junior Women's Club, Beth Cowley and Travis McCord, Moraga Police Department, Moraga Youth Involvement Committee, Campolindo Supertonics, Mayor Karen Mendonca, Moraga Movers and the Contra Costa County Sherriff's Explorers. Moraga Parks and Recreation is extremely appreciative for each and every individual and group that took the time to continue the volunteer spirit the Town of Moraga enjoys for so many of its great events.
