Lamorinda Sunrise Rotary Club hosted Motorama - World of Wheels car show that featured sunshine, cars and barbeque, a trifecta for any dad on Father's Day. Although the event is free, proceeds from food sales and exhibitors support Rotary's community service programs.

From muscle cars to sports cars to a variety of motorcycles along with road signs and license plates for sale there was something for everyone to enjoy at the well-attended show. Lafayette resident Winslow Moore brought his 1957 convertible Oldsmobile Super 88, that he spent 14 years restoring - doing all the work except the upholstery himself. He bought the car in 1962 in Florida and it's been part of the family ever since.

George DeLucca displayed his very stylish 1961 red Corvette. He explained it has a brand new 350 engine with two four barrel carburetors and American racing wheels - the license plate says it all: "Bella 61" tucked below the distinctive ducktail rear end.

The very retro red 1966 Chevy One Ton Panel Truck, with unique signage, "Cruizin the Mendocino coast with Len and the Red Sled" was completely decked out with fast food drive-in trays on both the front and passenger side windows. Proud owner Len Trimlett explained that it's long and low, a former carpet delivery truck, so the red sled moniker fit.
