Team Lafayette invites you to a Wine Tasting at Wine Thieves - Thursday night, October 20th.
Sip some vino and savor some vittles while you mingle with friends - a raffle will give you the opportunity to score some pretty fine wine and other fabulous prizes. Bob Athayde and a Friend or Two promise to set the mood with their soul soothing smooth jazz; your $35.00 donation to the American Cancer Society is your ticket into the event (Designated as the driver? You're in for just $10)....and those Wine Guys at Wine Thieves are donating a portion of the evening's wine sales to the American Cancer Society - thank you, Rod Santos and Jim Myers. To take this fabulous event a notch above superlative, 100% of our proceeds are going to...you guessed it!
Who the heck is Team Lafayette? Team Lafayette is a non-City related, non-City sponsored - we're doing this in our spare time - City Employee organized group that has a passion for finding a cure for cancer. Through our fun-raising fundraising efforts we're celebrating a third Pink October, meeting great people, and generating generous donations to the American Cancer Society - over $2,500 to date.
