While the Saint Mary's College rugby team was recognized by USA National Collegiate Rugby as the fourth team in the nation, individual players were also honored. Five players were named to the first team All-America squad: Andrew Cook (captain), Matt Crawford, Tim Maupin and Kinsley McGowen. Nick Wallace and Kelly Harris were named Honorable Mention. The recognition is also an invitation to take part in the All American Camp in Houston in June. Twenty-five players from the camp will be chosen to play on a traveling team, which will tour Ireland in August.
