TThe Miramonte boys' varsity lacrosse team squared off against cross-town rival Campolindo on April 23. In the final match-up between the two teams, Miramonte earned a 12-6 win.
An intense first quarter ended in a narrow 3-2 lead for Miramonte. Miramonte held Campolindo scoreless during the second quarter, while capitalizing on key turnovers to extend its lead to 5-2 by the end of the first half.
During the second half, the two teams' offensive lines peppered the goalies with deftly handled shots on goals. Ultimately, Campolindo's defensemen were unable to contain Miramonte's dynamic scoring duo of Nick Sheehan and Jack Murphy, who each scored five goals. Joey Forman and Jackson Doyle solidified Miramonte's 12-6 victory with one goal each.
