Have you ever wondered what it would be like to race an Olympian?
One hundred Lamorinda kids got the chance to find out on April 14 when two Olympians, swimmers Jason Lezak and Moraga-native Kim Vandenberg came to the Soda Aquatic Center in Moraga for the Mutual of Omaha Breakout Clinic sponsored by Orinda Aquatics.
Swimmers got the chance to try on Olympic gold and bronze medals and have photos taken with Lezak and Vandenberg. Both Olympians shared their personal journeys and challenges as swimmers. Lezak and Vandenberg then offered in-pool instruction.
