 | | | Bryson Lew (center) celebrates first place. Photos provided | | | | | | The Northern California Rotax Challenge kart races were held on April 27 at Simraceway (Sonoma Raceway). Moraga resident Bryson Lew took first place in the Mini-Max class, ages 10-12. In the race, there were 12 kart racers and each reached 50 mph. Race day starts with warm-up, qualifying, and two heat races, where starting positions are determined for the final race.
