 | | | From left: Moraga Mayor Ken Chew, Rotary International President 2015-16 Ravi Ravindran, and Past District Governor Jim Campbell Photo provided | | | | | | Ravi Ravindran, a member of the Rotary Club of Colombo, Sri Lanka, who will become the worldwide president of Rotary International on July 1, 2015, spoke to the Rotary Club of Moraga and guests Aug. 12 at Saint Mary's College. Ravindran was welcomed to the area by Moraga Mayor Ken Chew, County Supervisor Candace Andersen, and by Moraga Rotarian Cliff Dochterman who served as the Rotary International President in 1992-93. Many Rotarians from other Rotary Clubs in the area were present, including Brad Howard, Rotary International director-elect of Oakland, John Blount, past director of Rotary International from Sebastopol, and Ken Carville, incoming Rotary district governor from Dixon.
