Photo provided | | | | | | As part of the Spanish immersion program offered at Sleepy Hollow, Del Rey and Glorietta elementary schools, approximately 200 parents attended the 8th annual Fiesta Jan. 29 to listen to their children sing and fluently speak in Spanish about the Colombian culture. Sleepy Hollow School Principal Kenneth Gallegos, Ed.D., attended the event and said a few words about the significance of this program, which offers classes four days a week with instructors originating from Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Spain and elsewhere.
