CYO Track and Field Results

St. Perpetua, Santa Monica, and Santa Maria churches had multiple top finishes at the 2015 CYO Dioceses Championship meet on May 9. Local athletes took away seven individual and eight team medals. Tyler Bergren set a new record in the 800m. Ryan Smith, a fifth grader, took first place in long jump. Madeline Jerge finished first in the third-grade girls' long jump division. Shannon Murphy and Reese Hanson finished first and second, respectively, in the fifth-grade girls' 400m. Alex Lodewick, a fourth grader, finished first in his 1600m division. Sydney Wood and Rylan Smith also had top finishes in the 800m and long jump, respectively.
