On Dec. 6, 2015, the Lamorinda Soccer Club U11 Boys Navy team won the NorCal State Cup (Manteca, Calif.) for the second year in a row. They defeated Mill Valley Soccer Club Fusion Red 05 2-1. In the championship match, the boys started with a strong first half, marked by a goal from Jack Alcalay, who put the ball in the net off an assist from Saylen Cardoni. Mill Valley then knotted it up at 1-1, giving their fans hope for a comeback. In the second half, however, LMSC's Finn Lutton sealed the match with another goal. Winning the Diamond 3 Champion category is yet another sign of the growth and continuity of the team.
