 | | | Photo provided | | | | | | March 13 was an unforgettable night for one Orinda girl, who went "Dancin' in the Dark" onstage with the Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen, during his concert at Oracle Arena in Oakland.
Springsteen plucked Anna DeWitt (also known as "Boo"), 14, an eighth-grader at Orinda Intermediate School, from the crowd in front of the stage and had her join him for his signature dance. But rather than succumb to Springsteen's old 1980s moves, Anna gave him a quick lesson in how to do the current teen hits, the "Whip," "Dab," and "Nae Nae." She was an instant hit with the audience.
