The Moraga Baseball Association Mavericks 11U team successfully closed out their summer season, hoisting another championship trophy at the Xtreme Diamond Sports Summer Breeze tournament in Morro Bay.
The Mavericks went undefeated through the weekend, ultimately besting Bakersfield 7-4 in a thrilling game featuring five lead changes until the Mavs put it away for good with a four-run fifth inning.
