Riding the wave of an undefeated league season, the Joaquin Moraga eighth grade volleyball (8A) team won the weeklong championship, after a hard-fought final match with Stanley on Oct. 27.

Brianna Lee was named the Tournament MVP, and joining her on the All-Tournament Team were JM outside hitter Molly Mitchell and JM middle blocker Erin Thomas. The Marauders were led by head coach Scott Standring and assistant coaches Debbie and Eric Standring.
