Teardrop Trailer Gets a Name
Submitted by Tom Black
Juliette Moore, center, is flanked by Claire Roberts of Orinda, president of Lamorina Sunrise Rotary, and fellow club member Chuck Yeager of Lafayette.
Juliette Moore successfully named the teardrop trailer Lamorinda Sunrise Rotary is building and will raffle next spring as a fundraiser. Proceeds will benefit a variety of community-service programs.

By vote of club members "Teardrop Inn" was selected from among scores of names hopefuls inscribed on the sides of a prototype displayed at the Lafayette Art & Wine Festival in September.

Lamorinda Sunrise Rotary, which has adopted the motto "We Build Stuff," in recent years successfully raffled a pair of canoes. Like the trailer, both were hand-built from scratch.

The club, which in the coming year celebrates its 30th anniversary, meets over breakfast Fridays, begining at 7 a.m. at Lafayette Hotel & Spa on Mount Diablo Boulevard in Lafayette. Guests are always welcome.
