Following Brandt Andersson's midterm resignation, it falls to the current Lafayette City Council to elect a member who will serve out the rest of Andersson's term until it expires in November 2018.
The board voted at the last city council meeting to accept applicants until Dec. 9, with a plan to conducting interviews from Dec. 13 - 20. Further discussion on how to proceed with the interview process will take place at the Dec. 12 city council meeting.
