Are your sneakers taking up too much room in your closet? Donate them to AAUW-OML (American Association of University Women - Orinda Moraga Lafayette branch) who will reuse and recycle them and earn money for scholarships for local high school seniors at Miramonte, Campolindo, Acalanes and students in the Saint Mary's College High Potential Program. These scholarships are based on community engagement. You can help by dropping off your old, out-of-date or new sneakers at one of the following locations: Moraga Hardware, Lafayette Veterans Memorial Building and Rossmoor Gym. Info (925) 963-4523.
