Leaning Toward St. Mary's College
Commencement is May 21st

It's not exactly an ivory tower, but Jacqueline Barnes of Pleasanton (on sign) and her mother Caroline Barnes (foreground) found the brick St. Mary's College entry sign a suitable location for pre-graduation photographs. The younger Barnes is a senior business major who transferred from San Diego State University and says "things are awesome with this school." She plans a five week trip to Europe after graduation before starting a job search. St. Mary's 148th undergraduate commencement will begin at 9:30 a.m. on May 21 at the stadium. C. Dausman
