LAMORINDA WEEKLY | 'Journey of Peace' poster contest winners

Each year the Lamorinda Lions Club joins 49,000 Lions clubs around the world in sponsoring a Peace Poster Contest. The contest encourages young people, ages 11 to 13, worldwide to artistically express their vision of peace. This year the theme was "Journey of Peace," and the Lamorinda area had over 230 entries submitted. The winners at each school are:

In addition, Eliani Kim (OIS) won first place among all the contestants in Alameda and Contra Costa County and her entry will now compete with other entries in California.
