| Forty senior citizens will have a much more comfortable Thanksgiving this year thanks to a gift of complete Thanksgiving Meal Kits provided by the Monument Crisis Center and donated by the students at St. Perpetua School in Lafayette. This is the third year that the students have worked with the Crisis Center by donating, assembling and delivering Thanksgiving meal baskets. The baskets are complete with nutritious food and holiday favorites along with a $20 gift card toward the purchase of a traditional bird. Many of those receiving the baskets are seniors or special needs adults on limited incomes. To learn more about the Monument Crisis Center please go to their website at www.monumentcrisiscenter.org/.
