Racing for a Miracle
Submitted by Mary Sue Erickson
David, Mary Sue and John Erickson of Lafayette Ace Hardware Photo provided

Lafayette Ace Hardware became a pit stop for the No.9 Stanley Ford Fusion Race Car on Wednesday, June 22. The car made a special appearance at the store, in conjunction with Ace's "Racing for a Miracle" fundraising campaign. With the help of our loyal customers, and other dealers in the area, over $9,000 was raised for Oakland Children's Hospital. In addition Ace Foundation donated another $25,000 on June 23 to help this local hospital. This is a fundraising partnership between Ace Hardware, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Stanley Tools. The mission of the unique partnership is to drive awareness for saving and improving the lives of children.
Lafayette Ace Hardware is owned by John, Mary Sue and David Erickson, and has been serving the community since 1982.
