| On May 29, five members of Boy Scout Troop 246 in Moraga, California were honored at a special Court of Honor for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Each of these young men passed his Board of Review on March 29, 2011. Ryan Baldwin, Charlie Chen, Anthony Knox and Garrett James Sanderson will be seniors at Campolindo High School. Christopher Peterson will be a junior.
Each scout earned a minimum of 21 merit badges and completed a major community service project: Baldwin built six wooden portable benches for the garden area of the Rheem Elementary; Peterson built and installed two eighteen foot benches for the fire pit area for Rancho Laguna Park; Chen built two ultimate raised garden beds and renovated the four existing raised garden beds in the garden area of Joaquin Moraga; Knox created a Veteran's Memorial for the Town of Moraga; Sanderson painted the walls and installed bookshelves in the main classroom at the Mission Learning Center in San Francisco.
