Miramonte Cycling Competes at Nationals

The Miramonte Cycling Club traveled to Sun Valley, Idaho, to compete in the US Cycling Mountain Bike Cross Country National Championships July 14-17.
Junior Erik Johnson took first place in Category 2, 15-18-year-old racers. Johnson outraced 60 other riders on the 10-mile alpine course to earn the Club's first-ever national victory.
Senior Adam Ocamb took 23rd in the Category 1, 17-18-year-old racers 14-mile course.
Freshman Justin Ocamb finished 14th in the Junior 13-14 age group.
Miramonte Cycling Club will compete in the upcoming NorCal 2012 spring racing season.
